This is a Traceable Leather Bag
There are no mysteries when there is a connection between the farmer and the designer…
The leather that makes up your Cradle Bucket Bag came from a cow that was raised at Flying Dog Farm, a regenerative farm in the state of Vermont.
The cow was respectfully raised and butchered for meat. And the skin, which would otherwise be considered waste, got sent to Pergamena in New York for tanning, coordinated through 5th Business.
The skin was made into Vegetable Tanned Leather and shipped to Harkin in Cleveland, Ohio to be crafted into your bag. All leather cuttings too small to be made into something else are in the compost pile.
This bag was designed to be made how good quality products used to be made—close to home, with honor at every step.
