Recent Custom Designs
A simple tote is a staple handbag. This custom design was inquired from a client for a 3 year wedding anniversary gift. The third year of marriage is themed “the year of leather” for gifting, so this was sweet to be a part of. For this design, I adjusted the dimensions of the Shoulder Bag to function more as a traditional tote—perfect for a work bag, diaper bag, everyday bag—and added 3 interior pockets, as well as a key fob.
This client gifted her husband a consultation for a custom wallet. He wanted a very simple, very traditional wallet, no special functions or edgy style. He loved the Plum Leather color and when I showed him the Plum Suede he really perked up so I had the idea to use the Suede as a contrast to the Leather. The combo feels luxe and sophisticated, along with the curved style lines of the card slots. These leathers were tanned by Pergamena with cow skin sourced as a byproduct from Stone Barns. The whole life of this leather has not traveled far, to Cleveland from New York!
This client is a new mama and was looking for a wristlet to be able to hold her essentials and easily store it in her work bag or diaper bag and also be able wear on its own for a night out. I offered we branch off of the shoulder bag concept design I have. I adjusted the dimensions, added a zipped interior pocket and detachable wristlet to fit her requests.
The Travel Hat Clip was commissioned as a gift to a traveling work colleague. This small product exhibits layers of style lines inspired by a ginkgo leaf. Crafted in vegetable tanned leather and solid brass hardware.
The Dobre Backpack was designed for a client’s trip to Dominica. She requested a backpack that would be worn as a carry-on and also worn for hiking and adventure. The flap is a magnetic closure for quick access with a zip closure under the flap for extra security. The interior is lined with GOTS Certified Organic Oilskin. The padded straps add great comfort, stuffed with a Wool/Alpaca blend felted from Roving Acres Farms. You can read more about the making of this custom design here.
